Oct. 6, 2026 - Accurate Box Company has expanded its corrugated packaging capabilities with the addition of C flute. The company now offers F, E, D, B and C flute profiles, expanding the range of projects and packaging specifications it can support.
According to the New jersey-based corrugated box producer, C flute is a widely used corrugated profile known for its product protection and compression strength. Its thicker construction makes it well suited for club store trays and heavier boxes that must hold up through stacking, storage and transportation. Each flute profile offers a different balance of thickness, strength, and product protection while supporting high-quality graphics. The appropriate profile depends on the product, package design and distribution requirements.
"C flute comes up regularly in conversations with customers and prospects. Adding it means we can now say yes to more projects that specify C flute," explained Samara Ronkowitz, Executive Vice President at Accurate Box Company.
In addition, Accurate Box recently expanded its automation capabilities with the installation of a new mobile palletizing robot from Rigorous Technology in the Finishing Department. This marks the company's fourth robotic system, designed to reduce repetitive heavy lifting while supporting production across multiple folder-gluers.
Unlike a fixed robotic system, this new palletizer is mobile and can be moved between folder-gluers based on production needs, giving Accurate Box the flexibility to use the robot across multiple lines and jobs.
The robot palletizes cases and bundles of finished packaging as they come off the folder-gluer. With cases averaging approximately 30 pounds, palletizing throughout a shift can be physically demanding and lead to fatigue and strain over time. The robot can palletize approximately 112 cases per hour, operating faster than manual palletizing while reducing the amount of lifting employees perform throughout a shift.
