Emmanuel Rapendy
Sept. 30, 2026 - BTG, part of the Voith Group, has appointed Emmanuel Rapendy as its President and Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2026. Rapendy takes over for Rainer Rauch, who served as Interim CEO during a transition period.
Rapendy brings more than 20 years of international leadership experience in the specialty chemicals and process industries. He joins BTG from Sulzer, where he served as Global Head of the Polymer & Crystallization Business Unit within the Chemtech Division.
Prior to Sulzer, Rapendy held senior commercial and business development roles at SpecialChem in France, and technical positions at Sartomer and Eastman Kodak in the United States.

BTG also expressed its deep appreciation to Rainer Rauch. "Under his leadership, BTG maintained strong strategic and operational momentum, delivering a strong financial year despite challenging market conditions," the company said.
