AFT's MaxEdge refining technology is designed to provide efficient and controlled fiber development while supporting stable operation, energy efficiency and consistent paper quality.
Sept. 16, 2026 - AFT (Aikawa Fiber Technologies) has received an order from Naini Papers Limited to supply new refiners for PM1 and PM2 at the company's paper mill in Kashipur, Uttarakhand, India. The investment forms part of Naini Papers' continued development of its production technology, with a focus on improving paper quality and production efficiency.
AFT's delivery will include four MaxEdgeâ„¢ double-disc refiners, with two refiners supplied for each paper machine.
Naini Papers is an integrated paper manufacturer producing a broad portfolio of writing and printing papers, specialty grades and industrial papers and has continuously invested in modernizing its manufacturing operations.
AFT said that the new refining systems will support efficient fiber development and provide Naini Papers with modern refining technology for its PM1 and PM2 production lines.

The delivery is scheduled for December 2026.
