Foundation for Packaging Education Announces Continued Growth in Workforce Training

Alexandria, Virginia, July 14, 2026 (Press Release) - The Foundation for Packaging Education has announced a series of significant milestones reflecting the continued growth and impact of donor-supported initiatives across the paper-based packaging industry. The Foundation's progress highlights the importance of continued investment in workforce training and professional development for employees across the corrugated, folding carton, and rigid box industries.

Foundation funding has supported the development of more than 160 courses within AICC's Packaging University platform, which has seen nearly 30,000 course completions to date. Funded initiatives also include Spanish-language translations, Learning Management System infrastructure improvements, and ongoing subject matter expert engagement to keep content current and relevant.

Scholarship programming remains a core area of Foundation support, encompassing the Dick Troll Memorial Scholarship, the Steve Narva Memorial Scholarship, and scholarships for participants in the AICC Next Generation Leadership and Business Certification in Corrugated programs.
