Larry Butkovich
June 22, 2026 - Precision Roll Grinders announced the promotion of Larry Butkovich to the position of chief operating officer. He also joins the company's Board of Directors.
In his new role, Butkovich will oversee the company's day-to-day operations and work closely with executive leadership to carry out strategic initiatives, drive operational excellence, and support continued growth.
"Larry has demonstrated exceptional leadership throughout his career and has played a key role in the success of Precision Roll Grinders," said Ed Gumina, president and CEO. "His broad operational experience, strategic mindset, and commitment to our employees and customers make him the ideal leader to help guide our company into the future."
Prior to being appointed COO, Butkovich served as Precision Roll Grinders' vice president of sales and marketing, and as vice president of operations, helping to strengthen operational performance and support the company's growth across its four manufacturing facilities.
Butkovich joined Precision Roll Grinders after a distinguished career in manufacturing and engineering leadership. He served as general manager of Fuji Electric Corporation of America's Virginia Assembly Center in Roanoke, Virginia, and as general manager of Electric Vehicle (EV) Systems in Edison, New Jersey. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions with International Battery, Cobasys and General Motors Powertrain.
Butkovich holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a master of business administration degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
