The deal involves Stora Enso's German corrugated packaging operations Gaster Wellpappe, Wellpappe Sausenheim, and PTI, including its facilities in Southwestern Germany.
April 21, 2026 - Dunapack Packaging, the corrugated packaging division of the Prinzhorn Group, has entered into an agreement with Stora Enso to acquire its German corrugated packaging operations.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The deal involves Gaster Wellpappe, Wellpappe Sausenheim, and PTI, including its facilities in Southwestern Germany. Combined, the operations have about 350 employees and a turnover in 2025 of approximately EUR 74 million.
"The transaction marks a further important step in the growth strategy of Dunapack Packaging aiming to increase its geographical footprint and will additionally foster our paper integration rate within the Group," said Gerald Prinzhorn, CEO of Prinzhorn Group.

The transaction is subject to merger clearance with an expected closing in the course of 2026.
