Sappi Europe Announces Price Increase for Parade Line of Label Papers

Sappi Europe - Parade range of label papers

Feb. 17, 2026 - Sappi Europe today announced price increases of 8-10% for its Parade range of label papers, including, non-wet strength and wet strength wet glue label papers and self-adhesive face papers, effective 1 April 2026.

According to Sappi, after an extended period of downward pressure, label paper prices have reached unsustainable levels as cost increases continue.

"Ensuring reliable and sustainable supply is critical to the labeling value chain, as is ensuring the long-term financial viability of our operations. Given the ongoing disconnect between market prices and structural cost levels, this increase represents a first step toward re-establishing sustainable label paper price levels," Sappi explained.

"Sappi Europe remains committed to ensuring consistent product availability and exceptional service offered to printers, converters and brand owners. The announced increase will support continued investment in production assets, product development and supply reliability for Label paper," the company added.

Sappi Europe said customers will be contacted individually by its sales organization to discuss implementation details.

Headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, Sappi Europe is leading the way in the production of woodfibre-based products and biobased solutions including packaging, graphic, label and speciality papers with 8 mill operations and 12 sales offices across Europe.
