Metsä Board Appoints Albert Ulla as Vice President of Kaskinen Pulp Mill

Jan. 21, 2026 - Metsä Board announced the appointment of Albert Ulla as Vice President of the company's Kaskinen BCTMP Mill in Finland, effective January 15. Ulla replaces Kaisa Sariola, who left the company to pursue other opportunities.

Ulla reports to Jussi Noponen, SVP, Production and Supply Chain, and will be located in Kaskinen.

Ulla has previously held several production roles at Metsä Board's Kemi and Husum mills, bringing strong operational experience to his new position.

The Kaskinen Mill has the capacity to produce 390,000 tonnes per year of bleached chemi-thermomechanical pulp (BCTMP), all of which is supplied to Metsä Board's Husum Mill. The Kaskinen Mill has about 80 employees.

Metsä Board is a producer of lightweight and high-quality folding boxboards, food service boards and white kraftliners.
