Lennart Eberleh
Dec. 17, 2025 - The Board of Elof Hansson Holding has appointed Lennart Eberleh as the new CEO of the international trading house Elof Hansson. Eberleh will succeed Mikael Forslund, who, after 10 years as CEO, is leaving his role at his own request to retire during 2026. Forslund will remain in his position until Lennart Eberleh takes office, which will be no later than June 2026.
Currently, Eberleh is CEO of Swedish market pulp producer Rottneros — a position he has held since September of 2016. Previously, he held leading roles at BillerudKorsnäs and Stora Enso.
"Elof Hansson is a trading house with over 125 years of history, built on trust, long-term relationships, and strong business acumen. With Lennart, we get a leader who both respects this heritage and has the ability to carry it forward in a changing world, said Anette Asklin, Chair of the Board of Elof Hansson Holding.
Eberleh commented, "It is an honor to have been appointed as the new CEO for Elof Hansson, and I have great respect for the company's history. With more than 30 years of experience in the Swedish forest industry, across a wide range of companies and products, I am confident that I can contribute to the company's future development. I look forward to being part of the journey that Elof Hansson is on."
Elof Hansson is an international trading house specializing in various forest and consumer products such as pulp, paper, timber, and biomass, as well as sells building materials, machinery, and equipment. Elof Hansson is headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden.
