Kyle Brown
Oct. 14, 2025 - Felix Schoeller announced the appointment of Kyle Brown as President, Decor Americas, effective Oct. 13. Brown succeeds Richard Paterson-Jones, who has led the company's decor division in the Americas for 27 years and will retire at the end of 2025.
Brown brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across both the industrial and retail sectors. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Product Development at Swiss Krono Group USA, a leading manufacturer of engineered wood products and laminate flooring.
"Kyle Brown has the experience and strategic acumen needed to execute our ambitious plans and further develop Felix Schoeller's decor paper business," said Matthias Breimhorst, Chief Commercial Officer at Felix Schoeller. During his tenure, Paterson-Jones played a pivotal role in advancing paper production at the Drummondville, Québec site through strategic investments and entrepreneurial vision. Under his leadership, Technocell became the leading brand for decor papers in the North American market.
"Richard has led our decor paper operations in North and South America with exceptional expertise and foresight. We are profoundly grateful for his nearly three decades of dedicated service and lasting contributions," Breimhorst concluded.
Felix Schoeller develops, produces and markets specialty paper solutions ranging from photographic and digital printing papers to decor papers for the furniture, wood-based panel industries to release liners, sublimation papers and flexible paper composites for packaging worldwide.
