Sept. 9, 2025 - Following intensive discussions with the works council, Feldmuehle has implemented its planned restructuring measures. Key elements of this reorganization include adjustments to production capacities, changes to management and the shift system.

The aim of these measures is to ensure better planning, greater reliability and punctuality for customers, suppliers and the company, without compromising on product quality.

The German manufacturer of coated label papers and flexible packaging papers filed for insolvency under self-administration in early-June, and insolvency proceedings under self-administration began on Aug. 1.

Feldmuehle operates one paper mill in Uetersen, north of Hamburg. The mill produces about 80,000 tons per year of paper.

As part of the reorganization, the sales department at the Uetersen mill is also being restructured.

In a press release, Feldmuehle explained, "Martin Mönke, Head of Sales, is leaving the company on 30 September 2025 at his own request and by mutual agreement. In Helmut Teuschler, we have succeeded in gaining a proven sales expert in the label sector. Together with our colleague Stania Sabatkova, who is primarily active internationally, he will be responsible for the global sales of Feldmuehle products in the future."

Feldmuehle noted that the sales force plans to increase their presence at international trade fairs.
