July 8, 2025 - Toscotec today announced the acquisition of the brand and intellectual property of the company formerly known as Recard, a company specializing in the production of tissue paper machinery.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Toscotec said the acquisition includes the know-how, technical drawings, and any other intangible assets.

"Through this acquisition, we will be able to provide qualified support to all customers who have previously invested in Recard solutions, guaranteeing operational continuity and a high-level service."
Following the acquisition, Toscotec is the sole and legitimate owner of all rights related to the brand Recard and its intellectual property, including — but not limited to — the patents, designs, models, trademarks and know-how developed by Recard.
Headquartered in Lucca, Italy, Toscotec specializes in the design and manufacture of turnkey projects, complete machines, rebuilds and stand-alone systems for the tissue, paper and board, and nonwovens industries. Toscotec is part of the Voith Group.
