Timo Ahonen
May 27, 2025 - Metsä Fibre today announced the appointment of Timo Ahonen as Senior Vice President, Pulp Production and a member of Metsä Fibre's Management Team, effective August 1, 2025. He will report to CEO Ismo Nousiainen.
Currently, Ahonen is working at Metsä Board as VP, Tako board mill.
Mikko Nieminen, the current SVP, Pulp Production, will transition to Metsä Tissue as Senior Vice President, Technology.
Metsä Fibre, part of Metsä Group, produces pulp and sawn timber, along with other bioproducts such as biochemicals and bioenergy.
