April 22, 2025 - Toscotec will supply an AHEAD 1.8 tissue line to César Iglesias at its production base in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
The new AHEAD 1.8 machine (PM2) has a sheet width of 2,800 mm and a production capacity of over 30,000 tons per year. The machine is equipped with TT NextPress shoe press technology to ensure optimal drying efficiency, a TT SYD Steel Yankee Dryer and high-efficiency TT Hoods.
The supply also includes the complete stock preparation system, Toscotec's upgraded Distributed Control System TT Brain DCS, as well as the full electrification system.
The start-up of PM2 is planned for 2026.
