Irving Pulp & Paper Launches New Technical Training Program at Saint John Pulp Mill

May 23, 2024 - Irving Pulp & Paper recently announced that its pulp mill in Saint John, New Brunswick (Canada) has launched an internal technical training program to improve collaboration and knowledge sharing across Irving Pulp & Paper called the University of Reversing Falls.

Over the past six months, the training program gave team members comprehensive knowledge of the mill's operational processes to help them excel in their careers. The training program was instructed by 13 highly skilled and experienced Irving Pulp & Paper employees from a variety of disciplines and areas of the mill.

According to the company, after 24 hours of in-person training, 24 Irving Pulp & Paper employees successfully completed the University of Reversing Falls.

Irving Pulp & Paper produces softwood and hardwood grades of kraft pulp — Northern Bleached Softwood Kraft (NBSK) and Northern Bleached Hardwood Kraft (NBHK). The mill specializes in fiber for premium tissue products in global markets, producing exceptional tissue quality NBSK pulp.
