WCP Solutions Promotes Amy Swanson to CEO; Tom Groves to Join WCP's Board

May 3, 2024 - WCP Solutions announced that Amy Swanson has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer, effective April 17, succeeding Tom Groves, who retired and has joined WCP Solutions' Board of Directors.

Prior to her promotion, Swanson served as Chief Operating Officer of WCP since 2020.

Swanson began her career at WCP as a Controller in 1999. Four years later she was promoted to Vice President of Finance, followed by her promotion to Chief Financial Officer in January 2014, and later to COO in October 2020.

Groves has been an important part of WCP for over 32 years and served as CEO since 2009. He now is the only member outside of the Abrams and Russell family currently on the Board of Directors.

"The last 18 years serving as President and then CEO have been extremely gratifying to me both professionally and personally. What we as a group have accomplished and the manner in which we accomplished it will be carried forward by Amy and the company," Groves stated.

WCP Solutions, formerly West Coast Paper Company, is a third-generation, privately-owned wholesale distributor serving businesses in the Pacific Northwest, Northern California, and Alaska. Offering a wide range of essential products for daily operations, including paper and envelopes, custom packaging and shipping products, facility supplies, janitorial and packaging equipment, and disposable food service items.
