Feb. 19, 2024 - Sappi Europe today announced that it will increase prices for its Packaging & Speciality products by 5-8% effective on deliveries from 1 April 2024.
Sappi Europe's Packaging & Speciality papers include: Flexible Packaging Papers, Label Papers, Functional Paper Packaging, Containerboard, Paperboard, Silicone Base Papers, and Dye Sublimation Papers.
In a press release, Sappi Europe said, "This increase is necessary to maintain the viability of Sappi's business, the actual amount will depend on the product."
Sappi noted that its European sales team will be in further contact directly with customers to discuss the details of the implementation.
