Lucart Names Michele Noera as Its New Sustainability and Energy Transition Manager

Dec. 7, 2023 - Lucart announced that Michele Noera has joined the company as Sustainability and Energy Transition Manager.

In a press release, Lucart said, "The inclusion of this new function will allow us to further strengthen our strategy in the various areas of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and represents a great opportunity for us to achieve the ambitious objective of optimizing the paper mill's energy transition processes, continuing along the path of self-production and efficiency."

Most recently, Noera was part of the Amadori Group (2008-2023), first as Energy Manager, and subsequently as Environment and Energy Manager. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Genoa.

With headquarters in Porcari, Italy, Lucart is a manufacturer of airlaid and MG paper tissue products, including toilet paper, kitchen paper, napkins, tablecloths, etc. The company has a production capacity of over 396,000 tonnes per year on 12 paper machines.
