SWM International Acquired by Evergreen Hill Enterprise

Dec. 6, 2023 - SWM International announced its successful acquisition by Evergreen Hill Enterprise Pte. Ltd. The company will now operate as an independent, privately owned business with its headquarters located in Luxembourg.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Evergreen Hill Enterprise also completed the acquisition of Mativ Holdings' Engineered Papers business on December 1. The new company will operate under the name SWM International.

Evergreen Hill Enterprise, an affiliate of BMJ, is based in Singapore and is part of an Indonesian-based privately held group of diversified companies serving a wide variety of industries, such as banking, tobacco, consumer electronics, telecommunications, fast moving consumer goods, e-commerce, plantation, hotels and real estate, and many others.

SWM International is a leading supplier of premium, highly engineered lightweight materials. The company serves various industry segments, including tobacco, cannabinoids, battery, surface protection, packaging, and medical.
