Södra Cell Appoints Karin Dernegård as New Mill Manager at Mönsterås

Sept. 1, 2022 - Södra Cell today announced the appointment of Karin Dernegård as the new Mill Manager for Södra Cell Mönsterås in Sweden. She will take up the role on 1 September 2022.

Tobias Runesson, who has served as Interim Manager, will resume his role as head of maintenance at Södra Cell Mönsterås.

Dernegård has been employed at Södra since 2011 and has held various roles over the years, including Head of Production and Process Engineering Manager at Södra Cell Mönsterås. She was most recently head of Operational Efficiency in the World-class Efficiency productivity improvement programme.

"We would like to welcome Karin back to Södra Cell and I am looking forward to integrating Karin's new experience into Södra Cell's work and management team," said Magnus Björkman, Business Area President for Södra Cell.

Södra Cell Mönsterås

Mönsterås is Södra Cell's largest pulp mill with a production capacity of 750,000 tonnes per year of softwood and hardwood pulp. The mill employs about 400 people.
