Sappi Europe to Increase Prices for Its Woodfree Coated and Uncoated Papers, and Paperboard

Aug. 2, 2022 - Sappi Europe announced that it will increase prices on its range of Woodfree Coated and Uncoated papers, and Paperboard by 8-10% to its European customers effective September 12.

This is in addition to previously communicated increases.

Sappi said the price adjustment is "due to continuing high cost and volatility in raw materials, energy and transportation."

Sappi warned, "The cost outlook remains uncertain and Sappi will continue to adjust pricing if costs escalate further."

Sappi's European sales team will be in further contact directly with customers to discuss the details of the implementation.
