IBS Paper Performance Group Acquires Metering Systems Specialists in Germany

V.I.T. Papertec specializes in high quality, tailor-made spare and wearing parts in the area of metering rods, beds and related equipment as well as cutting knives.

Dec. 27, 2021 - IBS Paper Performance Group said that it has acquired V.I.T. Papertec AG and V.I.T. PapierMaschinen-Service GmbH, both based in Gerlingen, Germany. The acquisitions will expand IBS's portfolio in the field of metering systems for the pulp and paper industry.

Both V.I.T. Papertec and V.I.T. PapierMaschinen-Service were companies within the V.I.T Group in Germany.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

V.I.T. Papertec specializes in high quality, tailor-made spare and wearing parts in the area of metering rods, beds and related equipment as well as cutting knives.

V.I.T. PapierMaschinen-Service is responsible for service and customer care for products of V.I.T. Papertec in Europe.

IBS said from product selection to commissioning, including employee training, will be provided, and the independence of both companies will be retained, as will the well-established brand names, the team and the know-how.
