Sappi Europe Announces Further Price Increases for Speciality Paper Grades

July 20, 2021 - Sappi Europe today announced further price increases for all Coated and Uncoated Flexible Packaging and Silicone Base Papers that will be applied by 1 October.

Sappi did not disclose the amount of the price increase.

"The ongoing rise of raw material costs, particularly pulp, chemicals and energy in combination with extremely high freight rates due to global logistic constraints make further price adjustments unavoidable," the company said in a press statement.

"The Sappi sales team will be in further contact to discuss the details of the implementation, taking into account individual existing agreements."
