DS Smith Recycling Appoints Andy Berrisford as Managing Director for UK

July 1, 2021 - DS Smith announced that Andy Berrisford joins the company as Managing Director of DS Smith Recycling in the UK. He will be responsible for developing the Division's recycling operations, helping customers to reduce waste and increase recycling rates.

Berrisford brings with him 13 years of experience from global packaging company Amcor. Initially joining Amcor in 2007 as Finance Director for the Amcor Flexibles site in Winterbourne (UK), he then moved into General Management roles from 2010 before becoming Commercial Excellence Director Snacks and Confectionery for the EMEA region.

Prior to Amcor, Berrisford worked for bottling company Gerber EMIG, now part of Refresco, and multi-national professional services network EY.

Berrisford will be based at DS Smith's Recycling head office in Caerphilly, Wales, United Kingdom.
