TW Mexico Packaging Solutions Acquires Thimm Packaging Systems Mexico

Tri-Wall Mexico Located in Puebla, Mexico, Thimm Packaging Systems Mexico primarily produces heavy duty corrugated packaging products.

Oct. 16, 2020 - The Tri-Wall Group announced that its Mexican subsidiary, TW Mexico Packaging Solutions, acquired a 100% stake in Thimm Packaging Systems Mexico, a leading supplier of industrial packaging, with a particular focus on serving the Mexican automotive market.

The acquisition was completed on October 9. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Located in Puebla, Mexico, Thimm Packaging Systems Mexico has been part of the Thimm Group since 2015 and most recently employed 51 people. The facility primarily produces heavy duty corrugated packaging products.

According to Tri-Wall, the addition of Thimm Mexico will further expand Tri-Wall's capabilities in a key automotive and industrial market.
