Atlantic Packaging Products to Build New Recycled Containerboard Machine at Whitby Mill in Ontario
The new containerboard machine will be built at Atlantic's Whitby Mill in Ontario and produce 400,000 tons per year of high performance lightweight medium and liner.
Oct. 15, 2020 - Atlantic Packaging Products today officially announced the construction of a new 100% recycled containerboard machine at its paper mill in Whitby, Ontario, Canada. The new machine will be Atlantic's second recycled paper machine at the Whitby mill, and is being built adjacent to the mill's current machine, which has been operational since the 1990s. According to Atlantic, the new machine will be one of the most technologically advanced containerboard machines in North America, producing 400,000 tons per year of high performance lightweight medium and liner.
