Papeteries du Léman Announces Price Increase for All Primabake and Specialty Paper Grades

Papeteries du Léman Primabake Papers

March 25, 2021 - Papeteries du Léman (PDL) announced that it will increase prices for all Primabake range and Specialty paper grades by 5 - 8%, effective with deliveries from May 1, 2021.

PDL explained that the price adjustment is due to "ongoing and unprecedented increases in raw materials, especially pulp and chemicals, energy costs and inflated logistics costs," and "if this trend continues, a second phase of increases should be implemented in coming months," the company added.

"In conjunction with this price adjustment, Papeteries du Léman continues its efforts to reduce overall operating costs and improve manufacturing efficiencies while continuing to supply premium quality products that its customers have come to expect," PDL said.

Papeteries du Léman develops and manufactures high-quality, innovative and customizable solutions in tobacco papers, baking paper, thin-print papers and specialty papers at its paper mill in Thonon-les-Bains, France, for the international market.
