Clyde Industries to Supply Boiler Efficiency Equipment for Bracell's Pulp Mill Expansion Project in Brazil
Jan. 29, 2020 - Clyde Industries has received an order from Andritz to supply boiler cleaning equipment for Bracell's 'Project Star' in Lençóis Paulista, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. Andritz will build the new recovery boiler, with high steam parameters to maximize power generation, and Clyde Industries will supply all automatic port cleaners and sootblowers for the boiler. Bracell's Project Star is a large-scale expansion project that will increase its pulp mill's current production capacity of 250,000 tons per year (tpy) of dissolving pulp by an additional 1,250,000 tpy to reach 1.5 million tpy. Work on the expansion has already begun.
