Voith to Supply Daio Paper with New Tissue Machine in Japan

May, 12, 2017 – Voith announced that it will supply Japanese tissue producer Daio Paper with a new XcelLine tissue machine. The new machine will produce approximately 54,000 metric tons per year of high-quality facial tissues, bathroom tissues, and kitchen papers made from virgin fibers.

The expected date of start-up was not disclosed

The scope of Voith's supply includes a MasterJet Pro T headbox, CrescentFormer, the NipcoFlex T shoe press, steel Yankee dryer cylinder with deckle insulation, high-efficiency gas fire hood, MasterReel with automatic core shaft return, and full automation for machine operation control: MCS, DCS and QCS.
