North Carolina State University to Establish Tissue Center
NCSU offering two Webinars — one in May and another in June — that will provide details about the Tissue Center.
NC State University is establishing a Center of Excellence in Tissue and Toweling manufacturing that will focus on delivering technical service, education and research to the tissue industry worldwide.
May 4, 2016 - North Carolina State University has announced an effort to establish a Center of Excellence in Tissue and Toweling manufacturing. This center will focus delivering technical service, education and research to the tissue industry worldwide.
Dr. Lokendra Pal, Associate Professor and co-director to the tissue center, describes the goal of center as, "The center seeks to deliver relevant cost effective service and research to the growing tissue industry. The center will leverage the expertise and infrastructure of the university to support tissue and toweling manufacturers and suppliers."
The center will have its full launch in the Fall of 2016, with education and technical service components coming online this summer.
