Pöyry Awarded Engineering Contract for APRIL's New Paper Machine Project in Indonesia
APRIL will construct a third paper mill facility for PM3 at its Pangkalan Kerinci site in Riau Province, Indonesia. The new machine will add about 330,000 tonnes of papermaking capacity to APRIl's annual output.
Oct. 8, 2015 - Pöyry said that it has been awarded a detailed engineering services assignment from APRIL for the fine paper machine project in Pangkalan Kerinci site in Riau Province, Indonesia. The assignment covers detailed engineering services for the new paper machine and Balance of Plant (BOP).
The value of the contract was not disclosed.
Start-up of the new machine, which will produce digital-ready fine papers, is scheduled for the third quarter of 2016, Pöyry said.
