U.S. Containerboard Production Increased 3% in August

U.S. containerboard production was 3 percent higher compared to August of last year.

Sept. 18, 2015 - The American Forest & Paper Association released its August 2015 U.S. Containerboard Statistics Report today, which said containerboard production was 3 percent higher compared to August of last year. The month-over-month average daily production compared to July 2015 was 1.1 percent higher.

The containerboard operating rate for August remained flat at 96.3 percent.
