Ahlstrom's Building and Energy Unit to Hike Product Pricing By 10%

Nov. 18, 2014 - Ahlstrom has announced price increases for materials produced by the company's Building and Energy business unit. The increases, which will become effective by Jan. 1, 2015, will be approximately 10% on average, depending on markets, products and the agreements in place, Ahlstrom said.

According to Ahlstrom, the price adjustment is the result of continued high costs of certain raw material and utilities-related inflation.

Ahlstrom's Building and Energy products are used in a variety of applications including wallcoverings, floorings, building panels, composite reinforcements, automotive interiors, apparel, fabric care and wound care.
