Notes About Our Digital Process
The publication is produced on a Mac workstation in QuarkXPress. Acceptable software includes
the latest versions of:
- QuarkXPress* (Mac or PC)
- InDesign*
- Photoshop
- Illustrator*
- Freehand*
- PageMaker*
- Adobe Acrobat PDF
* It is necessary to supply all support images in tiff or eps format (linked, placed, imported, stored
in publication, etc.).
We prefer high resolution "Press-Ready" PDF files. It is strongly recommended to supply a hardcopy color proof.
We cannot accept files formatted in the following software programs: CorelDraw, Microsoft Word, Excel, Persuasion, or PC Pagemaker.
Mac Operating System 9 and 10 files are accepted.
All colors in all files should be converted to CMYK/process (cyan, magenta, yellow, black).
RGB, Spot, Indexed/Lab Color, Duotone, Pantone, or TOYO inks should be converted to CMYK process.
All images should be scanned at or near 100% of the intended size, and of sufficient resolution
(300 dpi).
Fonts: All screen and printer fonts used in native and support files must be supplied together.
Adobe, Truetype, and Outline fonts are accepted.
