Total U.S. Boxboard Monthly Production Increased Two Percent in May 2020
The U.S. boxboard operating rate in May 2020 was 96.6 percent, up 5.3 points from May 2019 and up 0.9 points year-to-date.
June 16, 2020 - The American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) today released its May 2020 Boxboard Monthly report. According to the report, total boxboard production in May increased two percent compared to May 2019. It was down one percent when compared to the same five months of 2019. The boxboard operating rate was 96.6 percent, up 5.3 points from May 2019 and up 0.9 points year-to-date.
