AIPPM Honors Bing Priest of Printing Papers Inc. with Linda Hartinger Award

March 3, 2020 - The Association of Independent Printing Paper Merchants (AIPPM) announced that Bing Priest, President of Printing Papers, Inc. in Little Rock, Arkansas, was honored with the Linda Hartinger Award at AIPPM's 2020 Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas.

The award, formerly called AIPPM Founder's Award, was established to honor the memory of Linda Hartinger, past President of AIPPM and Anchor Paper in St. Paul, Minnesota. Recipients are recognized for their contributions and leadership of the Association.

Mr. Priest began his career in 1964 with Arkansas Paper Co. as a warehouseman and a driver. During his early years in the industry, he also served in the Marine Corps Reserves. In 1970 he joined Fine Papers as a sales representative. The company was sold in 1980 to Crown Zellerbach and he was appointed to sales manager in 1982.

On April 1, 1985, Mr. Priest started his own company, Printing Papers Inc. in Little Rock, Arkansas. For 35 years, Printing Papers has been a leading distributor of fine papers in Little Rock and throughout Arkansas.

Mr. Priest served on the AIPPM Board of Directors from 2012 through 2016, and as its President in 2015.
