According to Monadnock, Astrolite PC 100® Velvet C2S is the only premium, coated-two-side, 100 percent recycled sheet available in the United States today. “We are offering more of what consumers want — 100 percent recycled printing papers that offer true quality without compromise,” said Lisa Taylor, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Monadnock. Astrolite PC 100 Velvet is currently available in 80 and 100 lb. Text; and 80, 100 and 130 lb. Cover weights. Other basis weights are available upon request. The universal velvet coating on both sides is optimized for conventional and UV offset, and HP Indigo printing. Astrolite PC 100 Velvet is an HP Indigo Certified Media, achieving a 3-star rating for runnability, fixing and blanket compatibility. Astrolite PC 100 Velvet is FSC-certified (FSC C018866), manufactured carbon neutral (VERs) and made with 100% renewable Green-e certified wind-powered electricity (RECs) under a third-party certified ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
