Total U.S. Boxboard Monthly Production Increased 3.0 Percent in October 2019
The boxboard operating rate in October was 91.7 percent, down 1.7 points from October 2018 and down 1.4 points year-to-date.
Nov. 18, 2019 - The American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) released the October 2019 Boxboard Monthly report. According to the report, total U.S. boxboard production in October increased three percent compared to October 2018. It was essentially flat (-0.5%) when compared to the same 10 months of 2018. The boxboard operating rate in October was 91.7 percent, down 1.7 points from October 2018 and down 1.4 points year-to-date.
