European Carton Makers Association Appoints Mike Turner as Managing Director

Sept. 10, 2019 - The European Carton Makers Association (ECMA) has appointed Mike Turner to the position of Managing Director. Turner brings many years of industry experience to the role, including 15 years with International Paper.

A seasoned senior executive, Turner has extensive experience of both small and large packaging companies. He has also been heavily involved in the management of other industry associations, including Pack2Go Europe.

The role covers previous responsibilities held by Hans van Schaik and Rogier Krabbendam.

In a written statement, ECMA said, "ECMA is extremely grateful for the excellent work that Hans and Rogier have accomplished over the past 7 years. Mike begins his role in September, where he will represent ECMA members as a spokesperson, liaising directly with key legislators and the media to raise the profile of the sector and address industry challenges."
