AstenJohnson and Heimbach Call Off Proposed Merger of PMC Businesses

Sept. 3, 2019 - AstenJohnson CEO Kevin Frank on Aug. 30 announced that the proposed merger of Heimbach and AstenJohnson PMC (Paper Machine Clothing) businesses would not take place.

"We regret to announce that the proposed transaction to merge the Heimbach and AstenJohnson PMC (Paper Machine Clothing) businesses has been called off," Frank said. "While both companies have a high level of respect for each other and saw great potential to merge, the obstacles simply proved too great to overcome at this time."
