Ence to Hike Price for Its Bleached Eucalyptus Kraft Pulp by $40/ton

March 7, 2018 - Spanish pulp producer Ence (Energía y Celulosa) on Feb. 28 announced that it will increase its list price of bleached eucalyptus kraft pulp (BEKP) to $1,060 per ton – a $40 per ton increase since Feb. 1 of this year.

ENCE said the new price will be implemented during March and April 2018.

The company said the global market demand for bleached hardwood kraft pulp grades remains strong across all segments and inventories continue to be very low.

Ence is a leading European producer of eucalyptus pulp with an installed capacity of nearly 1.1 million tons per year. The company also produces renewable energy using forest biomass. To learn more, please visit:
