VPK Packaging to Expand Capacity of Radomsko Corrugated Packaging Plant in Poland

VPK Radomsko packaging plant VPK's expansion project includes the construction of an additional building to house converting equipment for the production of 30 million m2 of corrugated packaging.

Feb. 14, 2018 - VPK Packaging Group announced plans to expand the capacity of its Radomsko corrugated packing plant in central Poland by 40%. The company will invest 10 million euros in the expansion project.

The project includes the construction of an additional building to house converting equipment for the production of 30 million m2 of corrugated packaging.

In 2015, VPK expanded the Radomsko site for unprocessed, corrugated cardboard sheets with a department for finished products such as die-cut, printed and glued corrugated cardboard packaging. Total capacity today is 80 million m2.

Radomsko's production is focused on delivery to Polish branches of European customers served by the Blue Box Partners network.

Upon completion of the project, which is expected in the middle of 2018, the Radomsko facility will also add 15 employees to its current 200-person operation.
