Georgia-Pacific Completes Acquisition Of SPG Holdings

Aug. 15, 2014 - Georgia-Pacific LLC and SPG Holdings LLC today completed the previously announced acquisition of SPG by Georgia-Pacific.

Financial details of the agreement are not being disclosed.

The acquisition includes SPG's three manufacturing facilities in Green Bay, Wisconsin; Hattiesburg, Mississippi; and Augusta, Georgia; as well as a sales and administrative office in Dallas, Texas.

Operated by approximately 500 employees, SPG and its facilities now become a wholly owned subsidiary of Georgia-Pacific in the acquisition.
