Hamburger Containerboard to Hike Price for Brown and White Containerboard

The price for brown containerboard will go up by Euro 70 per tonne and the price for white will increase by Euro 50 per tonne.

Hamburger Containerboard indicated that the current market situation warrants the price hikes with strong demand putting pressure on supply.

With a total annual production capacity of 1.7 million tonnes of containerboard, Hamburger Containerboard employs 1,100 staff at its four production sites of Hamburger Austria (Pitten, Austria), Hamburger Rieger (Trostberg & Spremberg, Germany) and Hamburger Hungaria (Dunaújváros, Hungary).
