MWV Releases Data Visualization to Complement Its "Packaging Matters" Study

May 29, 2014 (Press Release) - On the heels of our second annual Packaging MattersTM launch, we have released the first ever online data visualization on global packaging satisfaction — a fully interactive representation of our seminal research.
Think of it as a moveable infographic. Just like packaging itself, there's more to it than meets the eye. The data visualization platform allows users to navigate through the study's findings and methodologies, all at their own pace. When users mouse over elements within the data visualization, the full story is brought to life, as hidden snippets of information appear and transform throughout the entire program.
The unique research conducted in year two of the study is depicted in the new visual tool. The data visualization walks the user through the role packaging plays in the online and mobile shopping experience versus traditional in-store shopping. The interactive platform also compares how packaging affects initial and repeat purchase behaviors in developing and developed packaging markets around the globe.
The data visualization helps to illustrate the differences among developed and developing markets and their consumers’ satisfaction with specific packaging features.
