Sodra Announces $20 per Tonne Price Hike for Its NBSK Pulp in Europe

Feb. 26, 2014 - Södra announced that it will increase its market price for NBSK pulp in Europe by USD 20 per tonne, which moves the price up to USD 940 per tonne, effective March 1.

Södra said that the price hike is due to "strong global markets and solid demand."

Södra, with headquarters in Vaxjo, Sweden, produces market pulp, wood products and biofuels. The company operates three pulp mills, all in Sweden, with a total capacity of 1.6 million tonnes/year.
