U.S. Containerboard Production in October Up 4.2 Percent Over Sept.

The containerboard operating rate for October 2013 increased to 94.7 percent, up 0.9 points from the previous month.

Nov. 22, 2013 - The American Forest & Paper Association released its October 2013 U.S. Containerboard Statistics Report, which showed containerboard production increased 4.2 percent over September 2013, and was 1.4 percent higher than the same month last year.

The month-over-month average daily production increased 0.9 percent.

The containerboard operating rate for October 2013 increased 0.9 points from September 2013, from 93.8 percent to 94.7 percent.
