NPTA Introduces Converter Membership Category

All firms who convert paper from one form to another for resale in the distribution channel are invited to join NPTA.

Nov. 14, 2013 - NPTA, the association for the paper distribution channel, has created a new membership category for paper converters. Now, all firms who convert paper from one form to another for resale in the distribution channel are invited to join NPTA.

“For more than 110 years, NPTA has helped both paper distributors and manufacturers strengthen their business relationships and improve their operations,” said NPTA President Don Clampitt. “We believe the exclusive access to industry decision makers and potential trading partners, insight on issues that impact firms across the paper supply chain, and distribution-specific education available through NPTA is just as relevant and appealing to paper converter firms as it is to our current merchant and mill member firms.”

NPTA members benefit from extensive, executive-level networking; the most current industry reports and data; business trend information; financial benchmarking reports and dashboards; relevant education and industry advocacy efforts. Each of these resources is focused on helping member firms identify new business opportunities, increase cost savings, enhance productivity and improve strategic planning.

Converter firms that join NPTA now will receive access to all member benefits through December 31, 2014.

The National Paper Trade Association, founded in 1903, is the association for the $50-plus billion paper distribution industry. The mission of NPTA is to actively support the success of member firms through the delivery of networking, education, advocacy and industry trends focused on the health of the paper distribution channel.
