Andritz to Supply Shin-Ei Paper with Two New Tissue Machines

Shin-Ei Paper (Japan) has ordered two PrimeLineCOMPACT tissue machines from Andritz.

Oct. 8, 2013 - Andritz has received an order from Shin-Ei Paper to supply two tissue machines with Steel Yankees to its location in Fuji city, Japan.

The machines, which will be used for producing high-quality tissue from recycled fiber, are scheduled to start up at the beginning of 2015.

According to Andritz, the new PrimeLineCOMPACT machines are designed for speeds of 1,800 m/min with paper widths of 2.8 metres.

The machines will be equipped with PrimeDry Steel Yankees to achieve high drying capacity at minimal energy costs, Andritz added.
