Metsä Fibre Hikes Price of Botnia NBSK Pulp to USD 900 per Tonne

Sept. 27, 2013 - The Finland-based market pulp producer Metsä Fibre said that it will increase the price of its Botnia Nordic Pine (Northern Bleached Softwood Kraft) pulp by USD 20 per tonne.

The new price is USD 900 per tonne, CIF Metsä Fibre’s frequently used European ports of destination, effective October 1.

On September 1, Metsä Fibre had set the price of its NBSK at USD 880 per tonne.

Botnia is the brand name of Metsa Fibre's pulps as well as technical support and logistics service concept.

Metsä Fibre has pulp mills in Finland: Joutseno, Kemi, Rauma and Äänekoski. The mills have a combined annual production capacity of 2.4 million tonnes of Elemental Chlorine Free (EFC) bleached pulp. For further information visit: www.metsafibre.com.
